Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the JobPrompt platform, including the web application, mobile application, and associated services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using JobPrompt you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About JobPrompt
JobPrompt is a business software platform designed to support work order management, asset management, team communication, operational handover, and accountability within organisations. It is intended for use by authorised employees, contractors, and administrators of registered companies.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, logging in, or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and JobPrompt. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Account Requirements and Approval
Access to JobPrompt is not self-service. Accounts are activated by a company administrator or the JobPrompt owner after review. You may not create an account independently through the public website unless specifically invited or authorised to do so. Account access is linked to your employment or engagement with an approved company on the platform.
You must provide accurate and truthful information when your profile is created. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for its intended business purpose within your organisation.
- Enter accurate and appropriate information into work orders, job updates, and asset records.
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
- Notify your company administrator if you believe your account has been compromised.
- Comply with all applicable laws and your organisation's internal policies.
- Not misrepresent your identity, role, or access level.
5. Company Data and Ownership
All data entered into JobPrompt on behalf of a registered company — including work order records, job updates, asset information, photos, handover notes, and operational content — belongs to that company (“Company Data”). JobPrompt does not claim ownership of Company Data.
Company administrators have the right to access, view, and manage records created by employees within their organisation in accordance with the access level and permission system built into the platform.
By submitting content to the Service, you grant JobPrompt a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to your organisation.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, data, or systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.
- Use the Service to store or transmit any material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Intellectual Property
JobPrompt and its underlying technology, design, branding, and software are the intellectual property of JobPrompt and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service during your authorised access period.
8. Service Availability
JobPrompt is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. The Service may be updated, modified, or temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control. We will aim to minimise downtime and communicate planned maintenance where possible.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
JobPrompt reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any account at its sole discretion, including where:
- A user has violated these Terms or applicable law.
- A company's access arrangement is ended or not renewed.
- An employee's engagement with the company ends and the company administrator deactivates the account.
- Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected.
Where reasonably practical, we will notify the relevant company administrator prior to suspension unless the circumstances require immediate action.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobPrompt and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or operational disruption.
JobPrompt is a communication and coordination tool. It does not replace your organisation's own safety, compliance, or operational management processes. You remain responsible for verifying the accuracy of information entered into the platform and for all operational decisions made using it.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
12. Changes to These Terms
JobPrompt may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
